Hey everyone. Hope you had a great weekend. We packed the kids in the car and drove over to the Cedar River to watch the salmon spawning. It’s a very northwesty kind of thing to do. You stand on a foot bridge and peer over into the water and there are these huge, red sockeye salmon swimming upstream. The females are digging a place to lay their eggs and the males tag behind them and fight with each other over whose going to fertilize the eggs. And then nine months later…
